Ward is born April 15th, 1977 in MonroeLouisiana. Monroe Christian School is a Christian-only private school. As a student in secondary school, Ward first attended Ouachita High School, but later transferred onto River Oaks High School during the summer immediately following her junior year. She briefly studied at Northeast Louisiana University after graduating. Ward began modeling when she was thirteen, leaving her school to move to New York. She had the idea to attempt acting after a couple of years. In the 70s, Ward had a small part that was not credited in the soap opera daytime All My Children. In her personal life she was married to the producer David C. Robinson and was blessed with a son named Cameron together with him.
